Episode 06: Westside Story Costume Designer Paul Tazewell

Join me and 6x Tony-award winning, Emmy-award winning, and Oscar-nominated Costume Designer Paul Tazewell for coffee!   Paul is the first Black man ever to receive a nomination in the Academy’s Costume Design category.  You may recognize Paul’s work in the critically acclaimed stage plays 𝘏𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘵𝘰𝘯, 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘞𝘪𝘻 𝘓𝘪𝘷𝘦!, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘔𝘑: 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘔𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭. His film credits include designing 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘐𝘮𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘓𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘏𝘦𝘯𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘢 𝘓𝘢𝘤𝘬𝘴 and most recently Steven Spielberg’s stunning remake of the classic musical 𝘞𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘚𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺.
