Nominees Announced For The 26th Costume Design Guild Awards

Today, the Costume Designers Guild, the authority on Costume Design, announced  the nominees for the 26th Costume Designers Guild Awards.

The annual awards ceremony celebrates excellence in film, television, short form costume design, and costume illustration.

The Guild’s more than 1,200 members (peers of the nominees) will vote across nine categories, and winners will be announced during a live event onWednesday, February 21, 2024 at NeueHouse Hollywood.

The 26th CDGA host, presenters, sponsors and additional honorees will be announced in the coming weeks. Stay tuned in to Costumes & Coffee online and on Instagram for the latest news. 

Ahead of the event, Terry Gordon, President of the Costume Designers Guild, IATSE Local 892 shared this:

"I am delighted to extend my sincere congratulations to all the nominees for this year's CDGA. It is with immense pride that this year our union will be including and celebrating all CDG classifications, including costume designers, assistant costume designers, and costume illustrators. Your remarkable contributions have elevated the art of costume design, and we look forward to honoring and recognizing your outstanding work during this special event. Best wishes to each nominee.”

The Award is presented solely to the credited costume designers, assistant costume designers, illustrators within the nine detailed categories listed below. Only projects that premiered or debuted from January 1, 2023 – December 31, 2023 were eligible for submission.
