Panera Spoofs Fendi’s Baguette with $40 Purse

Unconventional collaborations are popping up everywhere during this New York Fashion Week. One of the best was the introduction of the BAGuette from Panera to promote the launch of its new toasted baguettes. A play on the literal baguette bag that debut at last year’s 50th anniversary Fendi show, it is ultimate accessory designed for both the fashion aficionado and the foodie, is crafted with a generous extra touch to sit at the intersection of style and function.

The purse is donned in the beloved Panera green, designed for those looking for a pop of color and a unique touch of style in their wardrobe. The stylish structured accessory features an embossed pattern and flag magnetic closure with a custom metal “P” buckle and gold hardware. At 12” long, the BAGuette is the perfectly sized to carry one of Panera’s new Toasted Baguette sandwiches.

The BAGuette is sold out now, but we want to know…Did you purchase the coveted handbag and what will you be pairing it with? Tell us in the comments below.
